Viper Alarm- My remote wont control it how do I reprogram to control and be able to turn on and off the alarm?

Right now the alarm turns on automatically like its suppose to after 20 seconds but then I can’t deactivate it with my remote.

have you checked the battery in the remote,it may need replaced,if you have and that is ok find the owners manual for the alarm and look in it i have a similar alarm and it only needs the remote pointed at the car and held for so many seconds,and it re-programs its self,yours may work the same way.good luck with it.
