How do I remove the front panel on an Acer E380 desktop?

I want to add a second optical drive to my Acer E380 (same case as E500/E700 series) desktop, looks like the drive will slide in easily enough from behind, but i can’t see how t remove the blanking plate from the slot (or even how to remove the front panel to get at the blanking plate… anybody got any clues????

Throw it out of the window is the best thing to do with an Acer. PS that usually removes the front panel at the same time
