Is the Macally Tunepro ipod speaker compatible with the 2nd Generation iPod touch?

The specs say it’s compatible with any iPod with a 30-pin dock connector. I get the feeling from my research that it won’t work

yes it is they all have the same dock cord because i have had like 5 diff ipods and i have used the same cord and i have back up now in case i lose it
