Foldable Mini
What type of vehicle would you rent to take on a 4 day, 1 way trip with 2 kids and 2 large dogs?
We are moving from Texas to Maryland. We have 2 toddlers (in car seats) 2 adults, a boxer, a labrador, a parrot in a small dog cage, 3 sweater box type tupperware containers, a large midwest type foldable metal dog crate, a medium size cooler and 3 large suitcases.
We are trying to figure out what would be best, a medium size SUV or a mini van. We really wanted a large SUV (expedition or similar) but can’t find a rental agency with one available for a 1 way trip.
Also, which agency do you recommend?
can’t rent motor homes or Escalades for one way trips.

a motorhome that sleeps 4 comfortably. pack your food and overnight in campgrounds along the way. what you save on hotels and motels and restaurants can be put into gas. it will be better for the dogs to have a bit more freedom than a car will allow. i just don’t know if and where you can rent one
